A white Bordeaux wine of sauvignon blanc and sémillon, textured and fleshy.

In the glass

Floral, with ripe white fruit, juicy pear, grapefruit and pineapple and a light touch of oak spice. Textured and fleshy, with lime, pear and quince and a chalky finish.

Where it comes from

Sisters Sylvie and Marie Courselle make this at Château Thieuley in La Sauve, Entre Deux Mers, on limestone and clay. Sustainable certified. About 70% is aged in concrete and 30% in 300 litre oak barrels.

Fish and seafood, oysters, poultry or fresh goat cheese.

Serving and cellaring

Serve at 10 to 12°C. Drink now or over the next 3 to 4 years.
